.I stumbled on you and have been devouring past episodes. Confession: I am not an MI practitioner, but surely an aficionado. From a learning and org development background and in healthcare, supporting patient experience, discovered MI later in my career. Your guests bring nuance and dimension and an almost every case make me think about application to the patients and customers we serve. And, of course, applications to home life! Thank you and your guests for the investment of time and talent - what a gift.

Ever since I discovered this podcast last summer I have been smitten. The episodes cover diverse subject areas and feature renowned guests. Best of all, the hosts are themselves veteran clinicians who thoughtfully and artfully guide the conversation, modeling the same motivational interviewing techniques discussed in the episodes. I look forward to every new episode I have the fortune to hear.

As a student studying for her national board as a health & wellness coach. As well as looking back on why I was successful when I was successful as a medical massage therapist.

Love the broad scope of this podcast and really diving deep into various topics that aren’t often included in base trainings on MI (eg, self-compassion). I am a therapist, MINT member, and most importantly, ongoing MI learner, and am finding this so engaging and informative. Thank you for your work!

I discovered this podcast after reading about Motivational Interviewing and being curious on its potential applications in my field. I started listening with only a light knowledge and this podcast has helped me to progress from those early days, to being able to identify MI as a passion, to something that I now learn about and practice in a variety of different ways every day. This is now my favourite podcast of any topic and I commend the hosts for their curiosity, passion and commitment to helping others to find inspiration in a direction that also in turn helps others.

on 2/2/2021 I Love Their Compassion!

I found this podcast just yesterday and am so glad I did! I have been wanting to further my MI skills to work with my patients in an outpatient dialysis setting. This podcast has been useful in confirming how MI can be used in so many settings and why it is important. Listening to Glenn and Sebastian speak in their non-judgmental, empathetic, compassionate way just warms my heart and has me looking forward to pursuing more training for MI. Thank you for this podcast!

on 11/2/2020 Excellent Intro to MI

I started listening to this knowing some basic theory of MI and had just started a job where I would need to use it. It has been invaluable and I love that they do situation-specific episodes if you have a certain kind of person you are trying to help. They are also fun and easy to listen to. I have recommended this to all of my colleagues and others interested in MI.

These podcasts were recommended by a fellow fitness & nutrition coach, and they did not disappoint. As a fitness professional going on 20+ years, I was recently introduced to MI as I was completing another nutrition course. Wow! First of all, I have to say MI has really resonated with me and just feels like it part of me and who I am. Second, I have been able to implement this at a very basic level with my fitness & nutrition clients and it works!!! I have had success with the “difficult clients” who in the past I would have “fired” or simply been scared to take on thinking there is no way I could help them, they are a mess! So while I am in no way a clinical psychologist or therapist, or MI expert for that matter, I still have taken away so much from these podcasts and will listen to them again and again, as there are so many gold nuggets I have been able to use and apply with the clients I work with. I was so sad when I listened to the last one. Excited for more!
